Job Summary

Join the Wolfgang Puck Catering team for a truly captivating role as our Catering Sales Manager! Imagine yourself at the helm of unforgettable events, where you'll orchestrate culinary masterpieces and create memorable experiences for our clients.

As the Catering Sales Manager, you'll be the maestro behind the scenes, seamlessly coordinating internal and external catering events. You'll wield your creative prowess to craft tantalizing menus, while also managing costs and spearheading marketing efforts for our catering department. Your expertise will be pivotal in controlling labor and food costs, ensuring flawless event preparation, transportation, setup, operation, and cleanup.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cultivate a dynamic team by hiring, training, and nurturing managers.

• Spearhead innovation in service techniques and menu presentation.

• Craft meticulous operating statements, reports, and operational budgets.

• Design and coordinate captivating catering activities and events.

• Masterfully create proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders.

• Keep a watchful eye on budgets, financial targets, and forecasts.

• Nurture a thriving local client database and cultivate vendor relationships.

• Safeguard compliance with HACCP safety and sanitation standards.

• Embark on exciting special projects and assigned duties.

  Preferred Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred.

• A stellar track record of exceeding sales goals.

• A deep understanding of the latest food trends and fine dining service.

• At least two years of experience in the hospitality industry, including one year in catering sales.

• Exceptional supervisory, scheduling, training, and coaching skills.

• The ability to assess client needs and deliver exceptional satisfaction.

• Proficiency in crafting menu proposals in collaboration with our chefs.

• Mastery in supervising food preparation, service, and cleanup.

• Adeptness with A/V equipment setup and breakdown for events.

• Superior communication, problem-solving, and strategizing skills.

• Outstanding leadership and organizational prowess, with an unwavering attention to detail.

• Advanced computer skills, especially in Excel and PowerPoint.

• A proactive mindset, adept at staying composed under pressure, and ready to embrace change.

• An unwavering commitment to personal integrity and ethical conduct.

• Exceptional client relations and customer service abilities.
