We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Supervisor in Los Angeles, California. In this role, you will be a key part of our team, overseeing the onboarding of new vendors, maintaining vendor records, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This position is crucial to the smooth operation of our accounts payable functions. This is a hybrid role, in office: Tuesday – Thursday; remote: Monday and Friday

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the onboarding process of new vendors and maintain an updated vendor master list

• Ensure vendors are appropriately classified for 1099 processing throughout the year

• Develop and maintain data and reports such as aging reports and vendor reports

• Streamline accounts payable functions through key initiatives and implementations

• Manage the accounts payable ERP workflow for vendor approvers

• Review the work of the Accounts Payable Vendor Management Associate and activate vendor records after all requirements have been met

• Communicate with vendors to address inquiries and concerns

• Escalate urgent payments to the Accounts Payable Manager for tracking

• Foster strong relationships with vendors and manage vendor compliance

• Process and reconcile vendor invoices and statements

• Utilize accounting tools and software such as Dynamics AX and Concur for efficient data processing

Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding is required.

• Must have experience with Concur software.

• Demonstrated ability in Data Processing.

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) is mandatory.

• Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions.

• Experience with Form 1099 preparation is necessary.

• Proven ability to manage vendor relationships effectively.

• Must have experience in processing vendor invoices.

• Demonstrated ability to reconcile vendor statements.

• Knowledge of vendor compliance procedures.

• Proficiency in Dynamics AX is required.
