Nos attentes :

Le candidat se verra attribuer la responsabilité de faire la promotion des outils CORE du nouveau système d’amélioration continue à travers l’organisation. Le rôle comprend des activités tel que supporter et encadrer le déroulement des différentes initiatives d’amélioration continue au sein du Centre de Fabrication Longueuil. Les initiatives varient entre l’organisation des zones de travail, les standards de fabrication de l’organisation et de la production. De l’initiative ainsi que du travail d’équipe et leadership sont essentiels.

À quoi ressemblera votre travail quotidien :

• Supporter l’engagement des employés horaires dans l’utilisation des outils CORE au moyen de plusieurs rencontres par semaine pour structurer l’approche pour tout le CFL.

• Encadrer les initiatives d'amélioration continue définies dans le plan annuel en participant ou en supportant les employés.

• Renforcer la culture d’amélioration continue en utilisant les outils CORE au quotidien. (training, communication, formations)

• Vous travaillerez au sein d’une équipe dynamique orienté vers les résultats pour la réalisation des objectifs fixés.

• Ce poste permet de travailler sur des projets de grande visibilité et évolutifs au sein d’une équipe innovante.

Ce dont vous avez besoin pour réussir :

Les incontournables :

• Être éligible à travailler au Canada.

• Être inscrit dans une université canadienne pendant toute la durée de votre stage.

• Être en mesure de travailler sur place dans la province où vous êtes embauché, le cas échéant.

• Bonne capacité à travailler en équipe et à communiquer

• Maîtrise de la langue française, à l'écrit et à l'oral

• Une bonne connaissance de la langue anglaise, à l’écrit et à l’oral, est requise pour ce poste compte tenu des besoins opérationnels de l’Employeur et des personnes avec lesquelles le candidat sera appelé à interagir

• Bonne gestion du temps et des priorités

• Maîtrise des logiciels de la suite MS Office, Power BI

Environnement de travail

Quel est mon type de rôle :

Le stagiaire devra travailler sur le site, sur le quart de jour (ex : 8h à 17h, l’horaire peut varier un peu en fonction du rôle spécifique)

Ce poste s’inscrit dans un milieu de travail francophone, néanmoins il nécessite une connaissance fonctionnelle de l’anglais pour lire et comprendre des instructions spécialisées, des plans, des dessins et des termes techniques qui peuvent émaner d’organisations internationales, ainsi que pour écrire et parfois communiquer en anglais avec des clients, des fournisseurs ou des collègues internationaux.

Our expectations:

Manufacturing engineering, improvement focus

The student takes on the responsibility of promoting the CORE tools of the new continuous improvement system throughout the organization. The role includes activities such as supporting and guiding the implementation initiatives within the manufacturing center. Initiatives range from organizing work areas to establishing manufacturing standards and driving initiative production. Teamwork and leadership skills are essential.

What your day to day will look like:

• You Support the commitment of hourly employees in using CORE tools through several weekly meetings to structure the approach for the entire Longueuil manufacturing center.

• Supervise the continuous improvement initiatives defined in the annual plan by participating in or supporting employees.

• Reinforce the culture of continuous improvement by using CORE tools on a daily basis (training, communication, workshops).

• You will work within a dynamic team focused on achieving set objectives. This position allows you to work on highly visible and evolving projects within an innovative team.

What you need to be successful:

Must haves:

• Be eligible to work in Canada

• Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship

• Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable

• Fast learning and self-reliant

• Good ability to work as a team and communicate

• A good communication skills in French

• A good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken, is required for this the operational needs of the Employer and the people with whom the candidate will interact

• Good priority management

• Knowledge the MS Office suite software, Power BI

• Basic knowledge in manufacturing environment

On-site, on day shift from 8am to 5pm. This schedule could change based on specific assignation.

Although this position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
