Seagate US LLC Test Process Engineering Intern in Longmont, Colorado
About our group:
Seagate Technology is seeking a test process engineering intern for its development and process architecture team in Longmont, Colorado Design Center. This is a technical position with broad responsibility to work with mentors in the group to develop and advance the manufacturing test process solutions for the best-in-class Cloud hard disk drives.
About the role - you will:
Design and implementation of software and firmware test process solutions for the newest technologies in hard drive manufacturing. Incorporation of these solutions into the early phase of product development cycle by performing integration, testing, failure analysis and resolution, and drive performance characterization. Significant interaction and coordination with other design engineering functions that result in successful delivery of cross-functional designs. Delivery of innovative architectural solutions that serve as backbone for test process software and firmware.
About you:
The candidate should be hands-on with a proven ability to debug software and firmware issues - all directed towards identifying failure root cause and driving corrective action. This is a highly collaborative position requiring excellent communication and technical leadership skills. Demonstrable ability to conceive and develop solutions to complex engineering problems.
Your experience includes:
Python and/or C expertise and familiarity with source code control systems such as Perforce is highly desirable. Current student pursuing a Bachelor's or Master'sdegree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Math, Physics, or Computer Science and returning to classes in Fall 2025.

Colorado's 2021 Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) requires we inform you of the estimated base salary range for this position: $24 - $35/hr. Actual salary range is based on fair market value of the role in the geography in which you live based on the requirements of the job and your skills. This posted salary range is a good faith and reasonable estimate, and Seagate reserves the right to adjust this range depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
