WHAT DOES A DIETARY AIDE DO? As a new Dietary Aide at JGS Lifecare, you can expect to assist in meal preparation, set up dining areas, serve residents, and clean up after meals. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring that our residents receive delicious and nutritious meals in a welcoming and friendly environment. Your schedule will typically be from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, allowing you to have the mornings free for other commitments. You will work alongside a dedicated team that values excellence and teamwork, providing you with the support and guidance needed to succeed in this role. WHAT MATTERS MOST To excel as a Dietary Aide at JGS Lifecare, you should possess strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents and team members. Familiarity with basic kitchen equipment and food safety practices is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. Familiarity with point-of-sale systems for order entry and meal tracking is a plus.
