JCP Farms Ag Equipment Operator in Long Prairie, Minnesota
Need 4 full time, temporary, seasonal Ag Equipment Operators to work in Long Prairie, MN. From: 03/09/2024 - 11/30/2024 Work: 42 hrs./week, Mon.-Fri. 7 hrs./day. Sat. 7 hrs./day. Normal hours: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Overtime and work on Holidays are mandatory. Hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. Employer may increase wage rate with verifiable experience and/or provide bonus for exceptional work. Must Apply By: 07/21/2024 NOTE: JOB DUTIES: Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate and harvest crops. Attache farm implements and operate towed machines. General repair and maintenance to farm machinery, and buildings. Crops: Alfalfa, Corn, Potatoes, Grain and Soybeans. JOB REQUIREMENTS: (6) month experience; Able to lift 50 lbs.; must have a valid driver's license or be able to obtain one in 30 days of hire; no minimum education required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance; employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. All required tools, equipment and supplies will be provided free of charge.
