Job Overview:
RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated & experienced RN for Interventional Radiology at Monmouth Medical Center.

Qualifications:
Required:
RN Degree
NJ RN License
BLS (American Heart Association)
At least one year Acute Care or Critical Care experience
Preferred:
BSN
Specialty Certification
Scheduling Requirements:
- Full Time 36 hours
Essential Functions:
Responsible for ensuring the appropriate placement of patients throughout the hospital
Tracks and trends barriers to patient flow, makes recommendations to improve processes and systems
Prepares monthly bed management analyses to identify opportunities for improvement in admission and discharge planning
Communicates with physicians and nurses regarding emergency and direct admissions based on bed availability, treatment plan and admission criteria
Initiates and maintains communication throughout the day with Emergency Department, Operating Room, Cath lab and other specialty areas
Works with Case Management, Nursing, Environmental Services and other departments in order to proactively plan for patient admissions, discharges and transfers for effective patient flow
Coordinates discharge planning and patient transfers both internal and external as required
