Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Tax Preparer in Long Beach, California. The selected candidate will be integral in ensuring accurate and efficient tax preparation work in a variety of accounting software systems. This role is crucial in providing excellent customer service while maintaining precise records.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing and processing BUSINESS & INDIVIDUAL tax returns using a variety of accounting software systems including, but not limited to, QuickBooks and Lacerte Tax Software.

• Ensuring accurate data entry and maintenance of customer records.

• Utilizing knowledge of accounting functions such as allowances and deductibles in tax preparation.

• Resolving customer inquiries regarding their tax preparations efficiently.

• Monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary action based on their tax situations.

• Utilizing ADP - Financial Services for processing and maintaining customer information.

• Applying knowledge of CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax in tax preparations.

• Providing high-quality customer service by addressing and resolving customer inquiries in a timely manner.

• Ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations in the tax preparation process.

• Continuously updating skills and knowledge in tax preparation and related software.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Knowledge of CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax

• Ability to perform Accounting Functions

• Understanding of Allowances in tax preparation

• Excellent Customer Service skills

• Data Entry skills with high level of accuracy

• Familiarity with Deductible in tax context

• Experience with Lacerte Tax Software

• Proficiency in QuickBooks software

• Proven track record of successful Tax Preparation.
