Position Summary:

Lead a centralized Expediting Team to ensure optimum delivery performance from a complex supply base. Drive customer satisfaction through on-time performance and cost reduced inventory transfers. Drive and lead performance improvement using an analytical based problem-solving approach. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work closely with internal stakeholders such as Sales, Quality Assurance, Inventory Management, and Operations to establish priority metrics and optimize supplier performance

• Leads development of standardized processes to ensure reliable sources of supply, improved service and quality, and reduced costs and supplier lead times

• Drive supplier performance by implementing process improvements and structured performance improvement metrics

• Able to identify functional requirement gaps to recommend and implement process changes while delivering efficient and cost saving alternatives

• Develop internal cross functional workflows/efficiencies with all departments to deliver quality service and meet internal customer expectations.

• Establish organizational maturity through process design and improvement.

• Performs other duties as assigned

  Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 6-8 years of related work experience

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience (preferred)

• Advance negotiation skills required

• Polished, professional presence with exemplary communication skills required

• Experienced with a proven record of managing diverse teams in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Excellent work ethic and able to lead by example

• Proficient knowledge in all MS Office applications (i.e. Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Education:Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Finance or Related field of study

• Master’s Degree (preferred)

• 8-10 years of related work experience

• CPM, APICS, CPIM

• Must have the ability to take on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and achieve extraordinary results
