Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Social Media Specialist in the Marketing/PR industry, based in Long Beach, California. As a Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies, creating engaging content, and analyzing the effectiveness of campaigns.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement social media strategies to align with business goals

• Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)

• Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency

• Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics

• Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews

• Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout)

• Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions

• Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications

• Measure the success of every social media campaign

• Use various digital publishing platforms to create structured drafts Requirements • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the Marketing/PR industry

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva

• Demonstrable experience with creating and managing editorial content

• Proven track record in using Facebook Insights for data analysis and campaign improvement

• Familiarity with Google+ and its utilization in social media strategy

• Experience with developing and implementing social media advertisements

• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret social media data and analytics
