Robert Half (Technology Solutions) is searching for a Network Administrator / Network Specialist with a background in custom scripting and wireless connectivity. Position: Network Administrator / Network Specialist

Hours/Duration: 40 hrs/wk, M-F, CTH or FTE

Scope:

  • Support 100+ locations

  • Network admin/ troubleshooting at HQ/for remote locations

  • Support ongoing projects, learn new technologies, scope out implementations, monitor/maintain, network planning, performance improvement, collaboration, fostering new ideas for growth/stability

Notes:

  • Network Management is essential to operations

  • Handle Network Service Requests (incidents are high-volume during school year)

  • Projects: Replacing Switches, Endpoint Deployments, Cloud/Legacy Migrations (Azure)

  • Security: Threat Protection/Hunting, Patching, Remediation, Penetration Tests, Vulnerability Scans, Cloud Network/Data Center Security

  • Scripting: Custom Script Writing (PowerShell, Python, Bash, Shell)

  • Environment: Cisco, Mainly Windows/Microsoft Systems (some Linux), Azure Cloud

    Requirements

Top Skills:

  • Wireless Connectivity, Network Admin

  • Can Troubleshoot Network Issues/Slow Performance

  • Layer 2/3 Network Protocol exp.

  • Custom Scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash, or other language)

  • Self-starter, independent, motivated to constantly learn more tech

  • Education exp. (preferred)

  • 3+ years of Network Admin exp. (preferred)
