Royal Electric Marketing Specialist/Proposal Coordinator - Construction in Long Beach, California

We have a current opening for a Proposal Coordinator.
Support the Department
Provide bid support.
Request for Proposals (technical writing, design, collaboration, gathering content, production)
RFQ and Prequal support
Finalizing case studies/project profiles
Create interview slide decks
Update and maintain team resumes.
Develop and assist with creation and modifications of marketing materials.
Other specific marketing needs to support organizational vision and goals.
Communicate Company Culture
Utilize social media to grow and maintain brand awareness.
Own strategy and planning of all social media content, including analytics and reporting.
Follow industry and marketing trends when developing social media content.
Maintain a social media calendar for planned posts (including industry campaigns).
Gather information, content, videos, and pictures to implement social media calendar (holidays, national campaigns, talent development campaigns, linking values, Royal news, etc.)
Coordinate with Royal’s Safety Department
Engage with social media audience.
Visual Asset Capture
Photography (construction sites, headshots, events, industry campaigns)
Videography (construction sites, events, industry campaigns)
Editing (finished photos, short clips and long form videos)
Support Internal Initiatives
Requirements
Education & Experience:
5 years of marketing and proposal coordination experience
Experience in the Architectural, Engineering, Construction Industry a plus
Social media experience across standard platforms
Bachelor’s degree in marketing public relations, mass communication, English or related field preferred.
Potential candidates could be: experienced grant writers with excellent attention to detail and an understanding of client proposal requests.
Required Skills & Abilities:
Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite Adobe Creative Cloud, and video editing software
Ability to create copyright for marketing materials that include technical data and project descriptions.
Ability to change priorities and handle numerous projects at the same time.
Effective communication skills and adaptable communication style for interacting with team members, upper management, and clients.
Ability to collaborate with different employees, leaders, and teams.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Graphic design skills a plus
Salary Range:
- $80,000/year - $95,000/year
