Description We are in the search for a Billing Clerk to join our team in the Waste, Refuse & Environmental Waste Management industry, based out of Long Beach, California. The Billing Clerk will be crucial in managing the process of billing related to shipments, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the shipments ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.

• Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams to resolve any billing or shipment-related inquiries.

• Keep track of and follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure prompt payment.

• Process billing for all shipments ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.

• Maintain and update billing records and documentation for all shipments.

• Collaborate with the logistics and operations teams to ensure seamless coordination of shipments.

• Utilize your skills in Computerized Billing and About Time to manage Billing Functions effectively.

• Generate and analyze billing reports to track billing accuracy and efficiency.

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual billing summaries. Requirements • Proficiency in computerized billing systems is required

• Familiarity with 'About Time' time tracking software is desirable

• Ability to perform all essential billing functions with accuracy and efficiency

• Basic understanding of Waste, Refuse & Environmental Waste Management industry

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work in a team and independently

• Detail-oriented and able to multitask

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word

• High School Diploma or equivalent is necessary

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory

• Good problem-solving abilities

• Strong numerical skills.
