Duties : Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs; evaluate and design scalable and maintainable test automation systems using an existing automation framework, augmenting and restructuring the framework as needed; engage in planning sessions to evaluates complex user requests, projects, objectives, functional and business requirements; work collaboratively with Development team, QA team and Architect in designing and building a robust, reliable and maintainable test suites; advocate for TDD philosophies and strive to achieve efficiencies in testing, implementation and certification strategies; coordinate and participate in comprehensive E2E testing, including functional, integration, performance and security testing activities across multiple functional areas within and across multiple functional teams; collaborate with engineers across ASDD in researching test tools, methodologies, and trends and upgrading existing practices and processes; work closely with DEV and QA Leads in Designing and developing CI/CD Pipelines for execution of test automation. Position allows for partial remote work. Must live within reasonable commuting distance. Reports to company office in Lone Tree, CO. Subject to Schwab’s internal approach to workplace flexibility.

Starting compensation for this location depends on related experience. Annual bonus opportunity and other eligible earnings are not included in the range(s) above. We offer a competitive benefits package, see below for details.

Salary: $152,069 to $160,800 per year

What you have

Job Requirements : Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Applications or a related field and 5 years of experience in a related occupation.

Experience must include the following: Build and maintain test scripts for manual and automation coverage for unit, functional, and regression cycles using QTP, Selenium IDE, IntelliJ IDE, TestNG with Eclipse, and HP ALM; CI/CD pipelines implementation and application deployment using Bitbucket, Jira, and Zephyr; Program using more Object Oriented language using Java, JavaScript, JSP, CSS,HTML, SQL, and Oracle; Web Service and REST API testing using Soap UI and Postman; Agile Software Development process using Scrum and Kanban frameworks; and, Windows, Mainframe Systems, Unix and Cloud.
