This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Marketing team at the global leader in implantable hearing devices! In this role, you will be based in our Americas head office in Lone Tree, CO. This role is hybrid, requiring you to be in the office 2 days per week minimum, with 3 days per week working from home.

In alignment with our organizational principle of providing a safe work environment, employees of Cochlear are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. As a Senior Product Portfolio Manager at Cochlear, you will play a critical role in the success of our product line by leading the planning and development of the commercial strategy for our future product portfolio. You will work closely with global and regional cross-functional stakeholders, including product management, marketing, clinical studies, sales, regulatory and market access. Through the coordination and organization of these stakeholders you can work to ensure that our product portfolio and future product road map aligns with the company's business objectives, customer expectations and the evolving market landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive product portfolio strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives. This includes assessing market trends, competition, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and potential product enhanceme
  • Future Product Commercial Strategy Alignment: Lead collaboration of the various internal and external elements of our organization-from our business and commercial strategy to our organizational structure-to best support the achievement of the businesses long-term goals and purpose.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research, competitive analysis, stakeholder and customer feedback to gain insights into market trends and opportunities. Use this information to make data-driven decisions regarding the product portfolio.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, research and development, marketing, clinical studies, sales, regulatory and market access, to ensure alignment and successful execution of the product portfolio strategy. This includes educating, involving, and aligning the people responsible for executin
  • Product Launch and Go-to-Market: Plan and help to establish commercial strategies that lead to the execution of successful product launches. This includes developing go-to-market strategies, pricing proposals and product positioning in collaboration with the product marketing and sales teams.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges within the product portfolio and develop contingency plans to mitigate these risks.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate the product portfolio strategy, progress, and results to executive leadership, cross-functional teams, and other relevant stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Proven experience in product management, with a focus on portfolio management.

  • Experience with market research and competitive analysis.

  • Pay Range in the United States: $125,000 - $135,000 based upon experience, as well as an annual bonus opportunity of 15% of base salary. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
