Job Title: Project/Senior Project Manager - Occupier Project Management

Location: London

Role Purpose

The Occupier Project Management team, led by Richard Morris, provides project management services to occupier clients on office fit outs. The team currently comprises fifteen fee earners and one team secretary.

The team has had a very positive start to the year with a significant pipeline of opportunity for 2021 and beyond.

To meet the current and future need, CBRE is seeking a Senior Project Manager to work across a variety projects, support growth and deliver excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Initially in a support role, providing project management on interior fit out projects typically ranging from10,000sq.ft up to several hundred thousand sq.ft, to include:

•definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.

•development of project programmes and overall strategy plans.

•assembly and coordination of project team members as required to suit complexity of the project.

•monitoring and reporting on progress of the projects to all stakeholders.

•Support business development and team management, by

•working alongside other CBRE service lines to provide support in securing new instructions

•identifying fee earning opportunities & cross sell other CBRE service lines.

•contribute to the overall annual fee target of the Occupier Project Management team

•take an active role is supporting and contributing to team internal projects around efficiency, effectiveness and thought leadership.

•building relationships with colleagues and peers from across the industry, by attending team and industry events

•have an interest and experience in using social media to build corporate profile and share stories

Person Specification/Requirements

Experience

•36 Months+ post first degree experience in commercial office fit out projects.

•Have a recognised professional qualification (MRICS preferred)

•Experience in Project Management/ Contract Administration role.

•Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management.

•Knowledge of project management techniques and tools.

Qualifications

•Graduate/ Post Grad with degree in real estate or other related discipline

•MRICS in Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying or Project Management

•Consideration will be given to candidates with another appropriate professional qualification (CIOB, APM) with appropriate post qualification experience and those from alternative related backgrounds with relevant experience

IT Capability

•Technically literate inc. MS Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Project (or similar)

•Social media savvy
