Mediaocean Director, Sales EMEA in London, United States
What You Will Do:
The objective of this position is to contribute to our EMEA new business sales efforts. The role is responsible for driving revenue by securing new contracts with direct brands and agencies through direct selling efforts. This individual will also be tasked with following global sales standards and practices and providing visibility to the advertising community in the local market.
Responsibilities will include:
Develop and execute prospecting strategies for unsold brands both direct and through agency contracts.
Develop and execute prospecting strategies for unsold independent agencies.
Deploy a consultative sales approach to match client challenges to solutions across the Mediaocean suite of products.
Maintain high levels of market visibility and activity acting as a brand ambassador to prospects.
Produce proposals in the agreed upon format that reflect the client’s scope of work for each sales opportunity.
Collaborate with finance and legal to produce contracts in accordance with the scope of work and with company policy.
Maintain proper reports and gather competitive intelligence as directed by the sales organization.
Maintain and produce expense reports as directed by company policy.
Collaborate with client success team as needed for cross-sell opportunities.
Others, as assigned.
Who You Are:
BSc/BA preferred in a field such as Business, Marketing or Communications.
Have in-depth knowledge of high-level selling techniques to include prospecting, strategic selling, presenting and closing.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and SFDC applications required. Fluency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
Three years or more of sales experience to senior level agency or advertiser contacts. Customer centric personality, high drive and self-starting experience required.
Advertising/Digital Media experience crucial for success in this position. In particular, experience with digital optimization technology, DSP platforms, social media, and the overall ad tech ecosystem is a plus. Preference for a knowledgeable, well-connected industry insider who understands the dynamics of the Advertising marketplace.
Board-room presence, team-oriented, customer-focused, industrious, ambitious, organized, ability to work independently and organize workload efficiently. Be able to manage multiple projects. Be action and results oriented. Requires excellent oral, presentation and written communication skills.
