Web Content Coordinator

About our Team

Working on the Lancet.com platform providing a means to showcase top research and disperse it to researchers and other users.

About the Role

As a skilled web professional, you will immediately build websites for our Lancet journals. You will integrate curated content from editors and others and incorporate it in a visually appealing way on our websites.

Responsibilities

  • Using a web content management system or text editor, create and update journal homepages and ancillary pages within guidelines.

  • Integrating new designs into existing websites

  • Reviewing workflows, suggesting improvements, and leading or participating in improvements

  • Creating and modifying templates

  • Working with stakeholders to create and maintain web journal websites and resolve problems

Requirements

  • Experience with HTML5 and CSS including the ability to create and modify as necessary

  • Be knowledgeable with web content management systems

  • Experience with audio, video, and graphics content

  • Experience of responsive website design

  • Be a good communicator, including the ability to translate requests to user-friendly web pages

  • Be familiar with publishing and production-related fields
