Splunk Tech Enablement Instructor in London, United Kingdom


Job Description: That's a cool job I want it! We are looking for a dynamic and creative Technical Enablement Instructor to join the team and help us deliver world class training to our employees, partners, and customers nationally and worldwide. In this role you will perform instructional delivery of approved course materials with a focus on enabling Professional Services Consultants for our employees and partners. Candidates must have the ability work within a team, have strong self-discipline, and be able to work independently. You will deliver classes virtually as well as at Splunk, partner, customer, and contract facilities.

Responsibilities: I want to and can do that!

  • Teaches both advanced technical enablement and customer focused classes.

  • Can interact effectively with multiple personality types and cultures to hold respectful discussion on technical and best-practice courseware content.

  • Manages multiple projects/tasks with minimal supervision.

  • Consistently meets or exceeds goals and/or project milestones.

  • Communicates effectively, both verbally and written, with management, team members, and other departments.

  • Anticipates and resolves common problems.

  • Balances long and short-term goals by prioritizing activities.

  • Actively participates in curriculum planning sessions for new product training.

  • Adapts well to changing job and project requirements.

  • Recommends and implements solutions when project issues arise.

  • Ability to deliver training in English. Ability to teach in secondary language(s) would be useful.

  • Must have software/technology Professional Services Consultant experience (desirable)

  • Hands on experience with Splunk products would be an advantage

  • Demonstrated experience training to various technical audiences (i.e., software engineers, systems administrators, developers, sales engineers etc.) or can demonstrate potential to develop training skills quickly.

  • Technical and troubleshooting skills in at least one software application or technology.

  • Experience with both the Unix-based and Windows operating systems; comfortable on the command line interface.

  • Core Linux skills required such as understanding how to navigate directory structure, implement best-practice file system permissions and application management principles.

  • Qualified candidate must have excellent oral presentation and customer interaction skills.

  • Must have or be able to obtain current passport and be able to travel to other countries and regions without restriction.

  • Awareness of and desirably experience with Cloud-based technologies.

  • CISSP (Certified Security Specialist) (desirable)

  • Experience with Splunk-Phantom (Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR)) (desirable)


  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in a technical or related field is required.

    Special Consideration:

  • Must be willing to travel up to 70% and able to travel to other countries without restriction.
