Amazon Sr Mass Account Manager, Amazon Freight in London, United Kingdom

Amazon Freight is looking for a Sr. Business Development Manager to support our net-new Shipper Success Program (SSP) which intends to maximize the potential of the rapidly growing Small Shipper customer base by creating a strategic, scalable, and operational/tech-driven approach to growing customer spend, minimizing reliance on human-driven account management, and leveraging tools, data, and processes for success. The successful candidate will lead with empathy to cultivate a team, possess strong programmatic skills to scale the self-serve business, and think creatively to solve ambiguous problems.

Key job responsibilities

  • Develop and implement scalable account management strategy: A 1 to many approach, scoping & implementing tools/mechanisms/marketing needed to retain and grow the long tail of Shippers.

  • Build Efficient, Scalable, and Transparent Processes through Program Management: Create and optimize pipeline processes to enhance efficiency and scalability from prospect to product launch.

  • Inform Product Development: Use customer feedback to identify pain points and guide product improvements.

  • Implement Strategic Initiatives: Test new strategies in collaboration with senior stakeholders to support pitching or securing new business.

  • Own Performance Updates and Business Reviews: Manage pipeline updates, business reviews, and strategic project documents with leadership.

  • Develop a newly formed team in terms of sales, account management and broader Amazon mechanisms.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Advanced proficiency in written and verbal English

  • Experience coaching/leading/influencing a team

  • Experience with data analysis to drive commercial outputs, stakeholder management, change management and process implementation

  • Work experience including sales, customer facing roles and/or project management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree

  • Experience scaling a business through mechanisms and resources

  • Able to work independently, resolve ambiguous situations and proactively challenge the status quo

  • Extended experience in Retail, Marketplace, Transportation, Operations or AWS

  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting

  • Extended experience in project management and process optimization Experience in designing operations, and working across different teams and cultures
