Team/Role Overview:

The Business Execution Manager role will support and manage business execution and business management activities for the global Services Controls and Regulatory Management organization, a team of 350+ professionals located in every region and in most countries in which we operate, and will cover areas such as financial management, headcount control, data analytics and reporting, and senior leadership team coordination.

What you’ll do:

Working under the supervision and direction of the Services Controls and Regulatory Management Business Execution Lead, this role will be responsible for driving the overall administrative and business management activities through partnership and collaboration with the global Services Controls and Regulatory Management Leadership Team. These tasks may include tracking adherence to performance management goals, expense management and headcount initiatives, coordination of strategy related activities and direct program management of ad hoc projects as needed.

  • Manage tasks and responsibilities associated with the planning, directing, coordination and support of day-to-day activities of the global Services Controls and Regulatory Management organization.

  • Track business financials, ensure accurate headcount management, direct expense analysis and coordination of other business governance activities.

  • Coordinate the preparation of material that the Services Controls and Regulatory Management Head and senior leadership team require in key forums including internal and external Risk Reviews, Quarterly All Hands meetings, etc..

  • Partner with Central/Product/Cluster Controls Heads to ensure the efficient execution of key priorities, and (1) Identify opportunities for enhanced efficiency through process improvements; (2) Identify and drive resolution of issues; maintain a disciplined follow up and tracking approach for any open items and (3) Facilitate the sharing of best practices and insights across the team.

What we’ll need from you:

This role will require the ability to work independently and effectively to manage multiple priorities on a day-to-day basis and to respond quickly on time-sensitive deliverables.

  • Significant progressive experience with increasing responsibility in a financial services organization, managing book of work as a chief of staff or similar roles.

  • Ideally, but not required, knowledge of Treasury and Trade Solutions and Securities Services products and business processes.

  • Experience in operating in complex, global organizations with minimal support.

  • Understanding of the basics of P&L management.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.

  • Demonstrated success in driving and implementing process excellence.

  • Extensive experience in preparing and delivering senior executive-level presentations, superior Microsoft Office (MS PowerPoint and MS Excel) expertise.

  • Proven analytical ability.

  • Ability to prioritize is key as is ability to juggle several tasks at once.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to facilitate discussions.

  • Willingness to ask questions, challenge the process and seek out answers.
