The AUKF Central Operations team sits between Corp Teams and Stores, our role is to help improve our associates experience and delight our customers. A key role in the team is Labour Planning & Management. To meet our customers and business' needs we need to make sure we have the right resources in our stores and continuously find ways to improve efficiency.

An have an exciting opportunity to join the AUKF Central Ops team as a Senior Labour Planning & Management Program Manager. Working from London or Manchester you will own and develop tools and reporting, produce the labour plans by store and identify and deliver of projects to improve efficiency. We are looking for an exceptionally motivated and talented Senior Program Manager with experience of labour resource and optimization who want to join an ambitious, innovative and customer obsessed program.

Key job responsibilities

• The building of the store labour plans with consideration to store specific processes or features. You will review new stores and retrofit projects to calculate labour impacts, supporting with ideas to simplify. Development of systems, tools, reports and mechanisms to improve plans and create 'what if' scenario impacts.

• Production of reports of actual versus plan (annual, quarterly, monthly, weekly) with action driven documents for improvements.

• Owning the workforce roadmap to optimize our resources; identifying, shaping and implementing projects to improve labour efficiency (including time, motion and pace programs).

• Development and maintenance of Day In The Life Of (DILO) and shift patterns.

About the team

The role is within the AUKF Central Operations team, we are a team with broad skills and experience to:

1) program manage new stores and complex programs

2) support Activity & Change Management to stores

3) own processes and ops integration of projects, tools and systems

4) store launches

5) asset protection

6) CS programs

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

London, GBR | Manchester, GBR

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in program or project management

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience in physical retail labour planning is required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

  • Experience in grocery

  • Qualified in Time & Motion studies

  • Lean six sigma
