Senior Product Operations Manager

Location: Europe-based (Office/Hybrid/Remote)

Position Summary

Reporting to the Senior Director of Product Operations of the unit, whilst embedded within a specific product area, you will play a critical role in shaping best practice ways of working for our cross-functional product teams in order to deliver value to our customers. You will work closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Design leadership to drive team adoption of empowered ways of working at all stages of product development through execution, coaching, and guidance. In addition, you will work directly with the Senior Director of Product Operations to implement processes and practices that help the product organization scale effectively.

The ideal candidate will have experience working closely with cross-functional product teams, is strong at coaching and implementing best practice ways of working, and is comfortable driving organizational and change management programs.

We will rely on you for the following:

  • Work with cross-functional product teams to identify areas for improved ways of working and support them in implementing this.

  • Scale-empowered and agile ways of working across multiple product teams by sharing experience and best practices in an impactful way.

  • Conduct product maturity assessments to support and measure improvements.

  • Create frameworks, guidelines, and processes that help teams work more effectively and efficiently (minimum viable process approach).

  • Provide coaching, training, and facilitation for teams as required.

  • Surface “on the ground” insights and recommendations to Product, Engineering, and Design Leadership in order to make organizational-wide improvements.

  • Ensure teams are utilizing tooling in the best way possible to promote transparency, and knowledge sharing and drive business outcomes.

  • Support teams (and the organization) with OKR planning, decision-making, and measuring outcomes.

  • Improve feedback loops within product teams, between leadership and teams as well as with key product stakeholders.

  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement along with methodologies to support this.

What You Bring To The Team:

  • 5+ years of practical, hands-on experience working with cross-functional product teams.

  • Great facilitator with skills in conflict resolution, group dynamics, and personality styles

  • Ability to be a reflective observer who is able to provide challenging feedback and perspectives for all roles and interactions across our teams.

  • Experience promoting and driving cultural change by championing an agile mindset and implementing the adoption of best practices.

  • "Connecting the dots" and connecting people comes naturally to you; you’re skilled at synthesising information and varying stakeholder viewpoints to identify a path forward.

  • Ability to positively engage and build effective relationships with teams and stakeholders.

  • Experience in problem-solving within fast-paced and constantly changing environments.

  • Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels with internal and external decision-makers.

What would make you stand out:

  • Preference to candidates with a background in agile coaching and/or product operations. A bonus if you’ve worked as a member of a cross-functional product team (e.g. product manager, developer, or designer).

  • Familiarity with the field of infrastructure engineering and SaaS product businesses is a plus.
