Gallagher Senior International Benefits Research Analyst in London, United Kingdom
About the role...
As a Senior International Benefits Research Analyst you will join a team of in-house research specialists providing primary source information to international HR consulting organisations. You will have the opportunity to conduct research and prepare recommendations for the consulting team on issues primarily focused on employee benefits (and related matters) for non-US based personnel of multinational companies. This will include coverage of health & welfare plans, retirement plans, global medical coverage, expatriate issues/coverages, cross border pensions, multinational pooling, employment law, and statutory and customary country-specific benefits including leave, perquisites, and other HR related issues.
The Day-To-Day
Performs analytical work, data collection, market practice comparisons, and drafting presentations
Respond to a wide variety of specific International HR-related questions for internal team members or external clients through Internet research, international resources, and contacts
Collaborates with other team members to recommend solutions/provide technical reports on various client issues
Manages multiple projects with minimal guidance to ensure the quality and timeliness of client deliverables
Keeps abreast of all relevant laws and emerging regulations and trends

About you…
The Must-Haves
Bachelor's degree (preferably in business, accounting, finance, or human resources), and 5 years related experience required an analytical role and/or international benefits.
Proficient in Microsoft Suite of Office Products. Advanced skills in MS Excel.
Intermediate knowledge of database systems and their functionalities.
Excellent communication skills written and oral.
Masterful research abilities
Fluency in European languages strongly desirable (French, German and/or Slavic languages would be of particular interest)
Eligibility to work in the UK
The Nice-to-Haves
Experience in Global Employee Benefits Industry desired.
Knowledgeable in using various analytical approaches to problem solving.
Specialised knowledge in the EMEA global region.
Exposure to Finance, Tax, and Legal.
Work history in some sector of the insurance industry
