Syndicate 2019 provides Lloyd’s investors with access to AIG’s Private Client Select (PCS) portfolio.

Part of AIG since 2018, Talbot is committed to working with brokers and clients to deliver industry leading solutions. It is headquartered in London with offices in New York and Singapore.

How you will create an impact

• Feed into future non-nat-cat Exposure Management process developments, working alongside the Head of Exposure Management

• Own Exposure Management activities relating to Talbot’s Climate Change / ESG framework

• Work with the Underwriting and Risk functions to ensure Talbot complies with growing regulatory requirements (including alignment with Lloyd’s RIO expectations)

• Support the wider team in establishing and reviewing views of risk and risk appetites

• Feed into development / validation activities (including linkage into AIG group work streams)

• Help to develop oversight frameworks and own procedural documentation for the Exposure Management team

• Assist in developing and reviewing the representation of non-nat-cat classes in the Internal Model

• Involvement in the establishing and quantifying of emerging risks

• Ad-hoc project management, as well as involvement in regular cycle projects such as the updating of the Threat List

What you’ll need to succeed

• 4+ years’ experience in a relevant role (e.g. Catastrophe Modelling, Exposure Management, Model Vendor)

• Lloyd's market experience
