Role Overview:

The successful candidate will act as a Senior Support Analyst for Fixed Income Technology group with a primary responsibility of providing day-to-day production support to critical application systems. This involves working with multiple stakeholders within Fixed Income area and institute best practices in order to provide seamless production support.

As a Senior Support Analyst, you will:

• Manage day-to-day support of critical Fixed Income applications in Europe

• Engage directly with business users to understand on-going issues and provide technical resolution to minimize client impact

• Champion ITIL service management principles and promote them within the group

In addition to above, the role also offers continuous engagement in the delivery of local, regional, and global technology projects. The successful candidate is therefore expected to forge strong relationships with the front office business, global BA and development teams, infrastructure partners and vendors.

What You'll Do:

Drive Front Office Support Application Globally:

• Lead day-today production support of business-critical front office Fixed Income application systems

• Candidate will work to support processes and applications that will ensure platform remains resilient and efficient, collaborate with developers and BAs on future enhancements and the development of new applications and product offerings

• Candidate will analyze and resolve complex issues in distributed environments, often working in close collaboration with global teams. As a highly technical resource on the team, candidate will evaluate and recommend enhancements/changes to existing processes.

• The candidate will need to have the ability to occasionally work outside traditional business hours and weekends to support weekend changes/releases

• Work with technology and business stakeholders to understand key process flows/pain points and come up tactical/strategic solutions to resolve them proactively

Additional Activities:

• Act as a Business Analyst for technology initiatives and projects impacting Fixed Income applications.

• Perform assigned responsibilities in a professional manner, and in accordance with company policy.

What You'll Bring:

• Excellent working knowledge of Front Office Fixed Income business/applications, technologies used

• Experience in supporting Front Office Fixed Income trading systems and end-users

• Experience in supporting ION MMI and / or Anvil, ION SysAdmin

• Exceptional data analysis skills and ability to follow data flows/processes

• Solid understanding of financial markets and products, in particular Fixed Income products: Bonds, swaps, Repo

• A strong focus on client service and delivery

• Knowledge of IT project & development lifecycles (SDLC) within Investment Banks

• Excellent organizational, facilitation and communication (verbal & written) skills
