Sales Lead – EY’s Innovation Hive

With significant ongoing investment new features and functionalities are being added each month and we are well set to become the leading tech solution in the market.
We are now looking for a Sales Lead to spearhead our go-to-market activities for our SaaS offerings. This is a great opportunity for an experienced B2B sales and business development professional to join our team and make their mark on what will be a pivotal moment in our industry.
What you will do
Development, management and execution of the go-to-market strategy for SaaS solutions on our platform
Responsible for the end-to-end sales cycle from identifying targets (existing EY clients and net new targets), to delivering pitches and closing sales with C-suite audiences
Demonstrate our platform to potential customers and act as an evangelist for the solutions
Seek out and build internal networks and relationships across EY to drive opportunities
Drive business development pipeline and plan/support sales campaigns
Develop a technical understanding of the solutions, working closely with the Head of Product to develop messaging and content
Ensure best customer experience throughout sales lifecycle
Negotiate pricing and help draw up client contracts and legal documentation with the help and support of the wider team
Deliver consistent and accurate sales forecasts, measure progress and regularly report against key KPIs
Lead the team responsible for supporting sales and client implementations of the platform
Empathetic - you take the time to understand what drives other team members, what motivates them and how to achieve mutual objectives
Humble - you actively seek feedback and feel comfortable providing it to others. You are not overly influenced by organisational hierarchy
Hungry – you are excited by what you do, and you bring an enthusiasm to your job
Adaptable - you are comfortable re-evaluating your view when presented with contrasting facts and your opinions
What you definitely need
Whilst our platform is aimed at tax and finance professionals, we are not expecting the candidate to have qualifications or experience in this area. We are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic about working with technology in a vibrant and diverse team and are focused on driving market activity and sales.
A work attitude that is empathetic, humble, hungry and adaptable (see above)
Proven track record in a sales and business development role (SaaS preferred)
A self-starter with experience building a pipeline of leads and sales
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to establish and manage executive level customer relationships
Strong negotiation skills and give compelling presentations to close the deal
Ability to generate own leads and reach prospective customers
Ability to present technical concepts in a clear manner to various customer and internal stakeholders
