Job Description

Sales Development Senior Manager

The Sales Development Senior Manager will be part of Oracle’s demand generation team, working closely with marketing, internal sales and Business Development Teams. This exciting opportunity is focussed on managing a team that is focused on building and nurturing relationships with key business accounts leading to demand generation for Oracle's cloud-based applications (ERP/HCM/SCM/EPM + CX).

Responsibilities

  • Lead teams of SaaS Sales Development Representatives (SDR’s) focused on contacting and qualifying business accounts to achieve/exceed demand generation targets through Inbound Marketing source leads (MQL’s) and outbound targeted campaign execution.

  • Drive revenue growth through the conversion and progression of their team’s pipeline and navigate their team through the development and nurturing of long term relationships with their clients, coaching them to help address their customers------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- needs and challenges within a complex sales environment.

  • Develop and improve the customer experience within Oracle establishing and aligning with various cross functional Senior Management relationships in order to continue improving the services expected from the Business Development Group.

  • Identify, recruit and develop world class Sales Development Representatives, providing an exceptional talent pool for career progression within Oracle.

  • Invest in Sales Development Representatives and Team Leaders (where applicable), enabling them to grow professionally.

  • Build strong business relationships with all stakeholders (In-country Sales Reps, Sales Managers, Territory Managers, Marketing Managers, and Country Managers) to deliver company on goals, vision and strategy.

  • Set individual targets for team members, conduct ongoing regular coaching & performance appraisals and manage all related performance issues.

  • Own the headcount budget process for their region, plan and organise resources to maximise lead qualification. Ensure career progression of team members through consistent coaching, training attendance and support.

  • Report regularly to country owners regarding the performance of the SDR’s in lead qualification, furnishing them with statistics of leads quality, plus information on realised and forecast revenue.

  • Drive the use of a utilising a variety of channels such as social media, internet, web based tools & outbound calling. Ensure compliance to Oracle tools usage and processes.

  • Implement programmatic marketing plans, ensuring resources are allocated to achieve business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Proven team builder and motivator with previous experience in successful people management within a sales relationship management environment.

  • Excellent coaching skills.

  • Strong understanding of telebusiness operations with an ability to understand and analyse the industry and the market.

  • Budgeting, forecasting & business planning experience.

  • Proven ability to align other departments within their organisations to deliver revenue and sales growth.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and persuasive skills essential.

  • 3-5 years experience in Sales/Business Development management with knowledge of SaaS applications a distinct advantage.

  • Fluency in English is essential and a second language is favourable.
