The EMEA Head of Field and Client Marketing will lead the marketing teams located in Europe, Middle East, & Africa by driving awareness for Citi’s Services products and services.

The Role:
The EMEA Head of Field and Client Marketing will be responsible for driving regional client growth for one of the world’s largest global banks. This role will manage the regional revenue and demand generation teams who are responsible for multi-channel marketing activities including account based marketing (ABM), corridor marketing, RFP support, local content creation, customer testimonials, and the planning and execution of local events. As a senior, strategic, hands-on leader, you’ll partner with other leaders and stakeholders across Citi Services to build, execute, and measure integrated, highly targeted marketing activities that drive customer acquisition, retention, and expansion. You will work cross functionally with other Regional Teams, Product Marketing, Global Campaigns, Sales, and Customer Success to drive highly measurable ROI on investments. You’ll also navigate unforeseen obstacles gracefully in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment. This role will report directly to the Global Director of Field and Client Marketing and is a highly visible leadership role within the Citi Marketing organization which will have a significant impact on the long-term growth of the fast-growing business.
Specific Skills Required:
Proven leader and motivator with extensive experience driving revenue and demand through large, highly-matrixed organizations.
An analytical mindset who prioritizes marketing’s ability to drive revenue over winning hearts and minds or managing brands.
At least 10 years’ experience in the banking, financial services or the technology industry, with 5+ years in a leadership position in Marketing and oversight of demand generation for a $300M-$10+ Billion ARR company. B2B infrastructure marketing experience to Treasurers, CIOs, CTOs, and procurement leaders is important.
Experience in organizations with a complex, strategic sale where best practices AND technology define a client’s success.
Significant experience working with large, global enterprises.
Hire, develop, and lead a diverse global team of highly talented marketing professionals across demand generation, campaign marketing, and digital marketing.
Scale our regional marketing efforts, define, and improve KPIs, manage a significant acquisition budget, and assume primary responsibility for exceeding pipeline opportunity goals each quarter.
Develop and execute programs to drive pipeline and closed revenue, leveraging key channels such as digital advertising, paid search, web marketing, email marketing, nurturing, video, webinars, direct mail, events, field activities and more.
Partner closely with Product Marketing, Regional and Sales leaders to define campaign priorities and promote new products and features to new and existing clients.
Experience developing and managing client advocacy and loyalty, as well as delivering nurture programs.
Drive continual improvement in lead conversion rates, close rates and other KPIs.
Align closely with Sales and Regional partners to execute an effective Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategy.
Work with the inside sales team on lead follow up and ensure alignment to campaign strategies.
Demonstrate a strong commitment to ongoing sales and marketing alignment.

Ability to influence people across a wide range of functions and disciplines, especially those who do not directly report to you
Ability to manage multiple, simultaneous, long-term initiatives and priorities activities
Desire to work in a collaborative environment supporting multiple individuals
Ability to think critically and solve non-traditional problems/bridge key gaps
