Description

Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) is looking to hire a Program Manager, Network Planning to contribute as part of a network planning team in our EU headquarters to help deliver customer packages faster, more reliably, and at a lower cost.

Amazon seeks a Program Manager that combines collaborative and analytical skills with a passion for problem solving on behalf of our customers.

This position is based at our London Corporate Office, with the flexibility to work remotely up to two days per week in line with Amazon's current flexible work guidance. Amazon encourages open communication about unique needs, for flexible arrangements.

Key job responsibilities

  • Develop tailored supply chain strategies and operating models for diverse business needs.

  • Assess current processes and identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency gains.

  • Conduct in-depth analyses to pinpoint bottlenecks and areas for process enhancement.

  • Translate data-driven insights into actionable strategies that boost productivity and customer satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand operational challenges and devise solutions.

  • Facilitate the implementation of new processes and best practices to address issues.

  • Contribute to comprehensive project plans and coordinate cross-functional collaboration.

  • Monitor progress, identify roadblocks, and recommend adjustments to keep initiatives on track.

About the team

Amazon couldn’t deliver at pace without the Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team. As part of ATS, you’ll be welcomed into a diverse team that plays a central role in our success. Using air, sea and road transport, as well as sortation centres equipped with the latest technology, you’ll help Amazon’s transport run at maximum efficiency. Our team captures data and uses it to drive decisions. They are key to making Amazon more innovative and efficient.

Basic Qualifications

  • A degree

  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

  • Experience in program or project management

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

  • Experience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics

  • Experience in supply chain

  • Experience defining program

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • Experience leading process improvements

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
