Job Information

Amazon Program Manager, Compliance in London, United Kingdom

Description

In the EU, we are witnessing an unprecedented surge in legislations that affects the Selling Partner experience (SX) and threatens Gross Merchandise Sales (GMS). This legislative landscape increases the complexity and cost of selling in the region, making verification a significant barrier for seller launches

As the Program Manager for EU Registration and Verification, you will lead the verification experience of established Sellers. The complexity of this role comes from the need of balancing the controls mechanism (that we put in place to prevent potential bad-actors from accessing our Marketplace), with the ability to provide a smooth and fast experience for our Sellers.

As a champion of Seller Experience, you will dive-deep into data and anecdotes to understand Seller needs, and use that to develop and deliver a roadmap to improve the Seller Experience.

You will partner with multiple stakeholders, from product and technology teams, to compliance and regulatory teams, to operations and regional Selling Partner Service teams, in order to develop and deliver on key initiatives.

The right candidate should have a data-driven mindset and demonstrate ability to analyze and interpret performance metrics and their downstream impact on business and Seller’s experience. She/he should thrive on solving complex problems and protecting Selling Partners’ experience, and be able to influence, educate, and drive results in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. This is a role that includes interactions with Program and Product teams world-wide, therefore requires a strong ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders. She/he should also have strong project management skills with a proven track record of being able to successfully identify opportunity areas, develop plans to address them and execute with strong results.

· Build long-term vision and operational plan for the Selling Partner Verification Experience.

· Translate Selling Partners insights into Product Requirements and work with WW Product teams to make sure EU Selling Partners’ needs are met.
