We are in search of a highly motivated individual to join our dynamic team based in the vibrant hub of Old Street, London. In this role, you'll be an integral part of driving financial analysis, strategic planning, and decision-making processes within our organization. You'll be a collaborator with global cross-functional teams, offering invaluable insights to fuel key business initiatives.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Planning & Analysis: Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for leadership and help interpret financial results for both finance and business teams. Assist in developing and monitoring annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring accurate financial projections. Conduct in-depth financial analysis to guide strategic decision-making

  • Business Partnering & Strategic Support: Collaborate with business partners and cross-functional teams, providing financial analysis and strategic recommendations. Influence decisions by analyzing key performance metrics, cost structures, and financial trends, ensuring alignment with business objectives

  • Financial Systems & Reporting: Develop and maintain financial systems to ensure smooth data flow and robust reporting. Establish processes to enhance financial reporting accuracy and provide timely insights. Ensure compliance with UK financial regulations, managing month-end and year-end close processes for the UK entity, and working with external advisors on statutory reporting

  • Performance Monitoring & Resource Allocation: Monitor financial performance of business unit, conducting detailed analysis and offering guidance on resource allocation. Provide financial support for the Business Unit by leading various analyses, including demand consumption trending and Integrated Business Planning (IBP/S&OE) related needs

  • Project Work & Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements. Lead ad hoc projects, collaborating with cross-functional global teams to implement best practices and drive efficiency

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven experience in translating financial data into concise, meaningful insights

  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and considerable discretion in delivering assignments

  • Strong communication skills: represents the organization and engages with internal and external stakeholders, influencing decision-making when necessary

  • Expertise in Systems Applications and Products (SAP) or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, financial controls, and regulatory compliance.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and exceptional organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently

  • Proactive, results-oriented approach with a strong bias for action, adaptable to changing priorities

  • Team-oriented, flexible, and thrives in fast-paced environments with excellent written and presentation skills

It would be advantageous to have a Chartered Accountant (CA), or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification.
