This role reports to the Marketing Manager within the central marketing team and is responsible of developing key content to support the business and the P&B Marketing Plan, raising awareness of the Property and Buildings capabilities and what WSP does to key target audiences.

London (Chancery Lane) based, with occasional travel to some of our key UK office locations and client meetings.

  • Driving, managing and delivering clear and compelling content for internal and external audiences to support the Property and Buildings marketing plan, including but not limited to award submissions (including proactively engaging with the business, project managers, clients, interviewing stakeholders, writing and submitting awards) internal and external events, visuals, blogs, case studies, website content, infographics and film content

  • Developing a deep understanding of the business, projects and clients and collaborating with the other marketing strategic business unit leads to collaborate on content, marketing plans, campaigns and initiatives

  • Working with the Digital Marketing Manager and the P&B Marketing Manager to ensure that the website is optimised with the relevant content to support the Property and Business business, promoting its capabilities and raising awareness of what we do

  • Supporting the Strategic Growth Director and P&B Marketing Manager on key bids, and marketing plans and content that support this

  • Supporting the P&B Marketing Manager on marketing plan and content reporting and ROI

  • Supporting the development of the annual marketing plan in collaboration with the business and wider marketing communications team

  • Conducting desk research when required for campaign development and audience/competitor analysis

  • Look for new ways to innovate as a marketing team and work with the team to explore ideas for internal and external activation

  • Excellent copywriter, bringing to life our brand, tone of voice, through case studies, award submissions, website copy, internal presentations and literature

  • Experience within the property and buildings industry

  • Experience in managing many stakeholder and multiple projects

  • In-depth understanding of digital marketing channels. CMS experience (beneficial)

  • Drive and obsession to understand clients, competitors and markets

  • Someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, busy team with multiple deadlines

  • A strong desire to communicate on a face to face basis

  • A degree or equivalent education

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role

  • Energy, enthusiasm and innovative thinking
