Responsibilities

What you will do

Your responsibilities:

  • Coordinating the work of your team, who will be connecting various healthcare IT systems across our customer base; and migrating data from legacy systems into their new system.

  • Developing the team by conducting performance reviews, organising training plans, establishing and monitoring progress against goals.

  • Identify gaps in resourcing and supporting the hiring and onboarding of new employees.

  • Provide strategic direction, coaching, mentorship, and guidance to a team of Interface Engineers and Interface Architects to ensure the successful delivery of interface and data migration projects.

  • Supporting employees in case of customer or internal escalations.

  • Collaborating with other specialist teams to develop business delivery methods to improve the data connectivity and sharing for the benefit of our customers.

  • You will need to become comfortable with working with partner organisations on the integration of third-party systems, and migration of data from legacy systems.

  • Technical Expertise: Stay abreast of new technologies and industry standards in healthcare IT, particularly related to data exchange protocols, interoperability standards (such as HL7, FHIR).

  • Supporting the customer relationship managers, and Oracle sales teams with bids and customer conversations related to interoperability and data migration.

  • Travel up to 20%

Required Experience

The ideal candidate will possess a good background in healthcare IT, along with exceptional leadership and communication skills to drive the successful implementation and maintenance of interfaces connecting diverse healthcare systems, and successful migration of legacy data.

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare IT, Management Information Systems or related field or equivalent relevant experience.

  • At least 6 years of technical experience, preferably in the health and/or social care sector

  • At least 1 year of experience in people management/Team leadership.

  • At least 4 years of consulting experience, preferably in the health and/or social care sector

  • Knowledge of the UK National Health System (NHS)

  • Fluent in English
