Your opportunity

  • Coordinate and collaborate with sales leaders to achieve above industry growth results across our sales teams by drawing insights and actions from competitor and internal data

  • Deliver regular actionable insights to sales teams, including sales leads, cross sell opportunities & competitor information across focus products and client channels. Partner with technology to integrate this into the sales process.

  • Produce analyses that help set the medium- and long-term strategic plans, including determining priority products and sales channels

  • Manage the collection, validation, and analysis of data from various internal and external sources to provide insightful market intelligence, identifying opportunities for growth and areas of risk.

  • Design, develop, and oversee the delivery of insightful reports and dashboards to senior management and relevant stakeholders, highlighting key business metrics, market trends, and performance indicators.

  • Foster strong collaborative relationships with teams across the organization, including Sales, Marketing, and Client Services, to ensure alignment of the BI strategy with business goals and client needs.

  • Stay abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and best practices, continuously seeking ways to enhance our BI capabilities and competitive advantage.

  • Mentor and develop a team of BI analysts, promoting a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and professional growth.

    Must have skills

  • Significant experience within the asset management industry with an emphasis in Business Intelligence / Market Intelligence

  • Excellent communication skills with significant experience working with senior executives and development of board quality reporting

  • High level of initiative, analytical thinking, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and develop relationships internally and externally

  • Strong understanding of the asset management industry, including market dynamics, regulatory environment, investment products, and client expectations.

  • Ability to make decisions and judgements in the face of complexity, conflicting pressures, and ambiguous circumstances

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional projects and teams.

  • Strong team player with the ability to operate and influence at all levels

  • Experience with industry competitive intelligence data sources including Broadridge, eVestment, Financial Clarity & Morningstar

  • Advanced reporting and analytics; experience with industry tools including Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau.
