At Amazon, we're working to be the most customer-centric company on earth. To get there, Amazon is seeking a Learning Experience Program Manager for our growing Reliability and Maintenance Engineering (RME) team to play a critical role in managing Amazon's fast growth and technology innovation.

The RME WW Talent Development Learning Design and Innovation team is looking to hire an experienced Learning Experience Program Manager with a passion for learning technologies. In this role, you are responsible for the creation and execution of strategic learning/educational initiatives that support our field and central team. This role will support curriculum design, execution of learning strategies, scoping and designing of innovative learning content, as well as direct involvement with vendor-provided learning programs. You will partner with internal and external experts and teams to build effective relationships and raise the bar on the quality of the learning experience provided to our people.

We expect the Learning Experience Program Manager to be passionate about building skills and capabilities that help our people be successful on the job and grow in their careers. This individual must be a learning advocate, clear and concise communicator, and partner with a number of external vendors and equipment partners to raise the bar on the quality of externally sourced learning. We also expect the ideal candidate to have proven capabilities in managing projects, reviewing vendor proposals, as well as to demonstrate attention to details and the ability to effectively manage, often competing, priorities. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for learning design, a high level of flexibility, commitment, and the ability to tackle ambiguity and process improvement. A proven record of managing learning programs and vendors will be critical.

If currently located in the EU, relocation is not required for this role as it can be based at any Amazon location within the supported region.

Key job responsibilities

• Develop learning frameworks and mechanisms that drive consistency and quality in externally sourced training initiatives.

• Collaborate with designers and engineers to create seamless and engaging AR experiences.

•Optimise AR applications for performance, usability, and reliability.

•Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in AR technology and incorporate them into projects.

• Implement Training Needs Analysis and feedback mechanisms to drive capability development roadmap for new site launches and the evolution of roles.

• Ensure standardization across externally sourced learning programs such that we achieve quality, consistency, and measurable ROI.

• Architect learning journeys that are tired to measurable outcomes

• Drive adoption of learning initiatives through collaboration with subject matter experts and other business unit stakeholders.

• Design, create, implement and manage learning programs and initiatives that effectively upskill our RME field and central team customers.

• Contribute to reporting on leadership development activities and analyse data to drive results and program effectiveness.

• Build relationships and engage with leadership teams, cross functional L&D orgs and other central teams to drive program adoption and engagement.

We provide the right training and performance support, to the right people, at the right time. We build the capabilities that equip RME with the maintenance skills and equipment knowledge to grow, develop, and scale.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field such as business, education, consulting, organisational development.

  • Practical work experience in Program Management and/or Learning & Development, with evidence of building plans with clear objectives, milestones, stakeholders, and metrics.

  • Knowledge of instructional design best practices and eLearning authoring tools.

  • Experience cataloguing, integrating, and managing diverse content types on multiple platforms i.e. Knowledge and learning platforms.

  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise integrity and sound judgment in complex and ambiguous situations.

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Able to prioritise in complex, fast-paced, changing work environment.
