AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

As an Enterprise Account Manager in our UK Public Sector Healthcare Team, you are driving digital transformations through effective engagement with C-level business and IT executives, IT leaders, architects, developers, and various lines of businesses. You are establishing Amazon Web Services as the key cloud technology provider across the strategic accounts you manage, promoting the entire AWS products and services portfolio to Enterprise Customers...

Key job responsibilities

• Promote AWS services in a defined territory or industry vertical

• Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan

• Create and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services

• Facilitate customer adoption of AWS services

• Maintain a robust projects pipeline and consistently meet or exceed quota

• Work with partners to extend reach and promote adoption of AWS services

• Contribute to a positive customer experience through effective communication and relationship-building

A day in the life

There is no single 'day in the life' of an Enterprise Account Manager. It is a dynamic market and you will cover a diverse customer base, which means you will be engaging with different stakeholders and organisations to solve a range of different problems on a daily basis.

Basic Qualifications

Strong healthcare/NHS experience

Substantial experience working with transformative technology including cloud, IoT, AI/ML, business intelligence, analytics

Understanding of UK Healthcare Data Compliance and standards

Direct field experience supporting cloud adoption

Strong verbal and written communications skills

Preferred Qualifications

BA/BS degree or equivalent experience desired

AWS technical qualifications (SA, specialist, etc).

Experience supporting cloud enablement/adoption

Strong NHS network
