AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Sales Center (CSC) Early Career Talent (ECT) is growing and we are looking for talented people to join the EMEA leadership team. Early Career Talent team's mission is to prepare the next generation of cloud sellers. As a ECT Manager in CSC, you will have the exciting opportunity to lead our Early stage Career professionals. At the same time you and your team will help customers make the transformational move to AWS by understanding their business opportunities and demonstrating the unique benefits of solving them with AWS services. You will develop the next generation of AWS talent and assist them to learn, grow and be successful.

Your primary responsibilities will be to work with the graduates and interns during their 12 month program to develop and mentor them. You will use your experience in sales and technology to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders across all the business. You will work closely with EMEA DG as well as the HUB leadership teams to further meet the goals and intentions of our early talent programs. Also you will be in charge of shaping a program that will expand beyond the current remit.

A successful leader should be eager to develop others, and be a driven self-starter with a deep interest in growing the next generation of AWS talent, and have the capabilities to drive PM projects. The candidate should be prepared to perform against goals and consistently meet targets, with a focus on delivering results for the business through both DG prospecting as well as the formal talent development programs.

Key job responsibilities

Your tasks and responsibilities will include planning, executing and reporting, team development and strategy alignment including overseeing execution.

The leader is owning: 1/ Right talent development strategy for the early career talent teams in EMEA, 2/ Closely collaborate with DG and other business teams to ensure that the ECT reps are delivering in their role 3/ Collaborate with HR and workforce planning leaders to develop ECT plans in EMEA 4/ Coordinate with recruitment, ECT success strategy manager and student program to develop relationships with universities and improve the talent inflow in the organization

• Manage the monthly/quarterly business reporting to senior leadership

• Analyze data and trends and make informed recommendations to senior stakeholders

• Coach and develop a team of ECT Reps covering demand generation teams across EMEA

• Manage Sales Compensation scheme

• Develop relationships and work with marketing, sales, partner, sales operations, DG, and other stakeholders to create and refine the tools and processes needed to drive productivity increases.

• Identify reporting issues, gaps in processes, and drive timely resolution

• Prepare ad-hoc analysis & participate on projects as needed

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in technology related Business Development, Sales Strategy, Operations, or other related field

  • Experience in coaching and mentoring young professionals

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

  • Ability to conduct analysis of complex data and strong business-process design experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experince in team leadership positions in a result oriented environment

  • Handles multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Track record in effectively collaborating with and influencing senior stakeholders

  • A strong understanding of AWS and/or technology as a service (Iaas, SaaS, PaaS)
