Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Strategic Devices Partnership Manager to join our Devices Partnerships Team. At Meta, we have focused on building an integrated ecosystem where hardware devices work seamlessly with our software and services creating immersive, socially connected experiences. This includes Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger, Threads and our efforts in Reality labs with Horizon OS. As a Strategic Devices Partnership Manager you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing strategic partnerships with device manufacturers, technology vendors, and other key stakeholders. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams including product development, marketing, sales, and legal to drive the success of device-related products through collaborative partnerships. You will have a strong understanding of the devices industry, excellent relationship-building skills, and a proven track record of managing partnerships that drive business growth.

Required Skills:

Devices Product Partnerships Manager Responsibilities:

  1. Understand the competitive landscape across Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and our relative position to inform the product strategy and roadmaps.

  2. Follow ecosystems, user behaviors, and long-term trends affecting key device surfaces

  3. Smartphone, Tablet, PC, Automotive, Smart Home, TV, Augmented and Mixed reality.

  4. Identifying new levers to help move key metrics with partners for existing products and services.

  5. Negotiate, formalize & manage partnership, ensuring mutual benefit and alignment with company goals.

  6. Drive multiple projects from strategy to execution in a fast-paced environment in an organized way.

  7. Plan and lead cross-functional efforts to take known product optimizations and implement them in other places. You have the ability to operationalize plans and activities with flawless execution.

  8. Ability to work collaboratively under pressure, with proven experience working on complex, international, large-scale, time-critical projects.

  9. Influencing product teams through presentation of data & partner feedback based recommendations.

  10. Communicating state of business, experiment results, etc. to product and business leads.

  11. Spreading best practices for growth with product teams to drive impact.

  1. Significant experience in Business Development, Partnerships or Product Management within the technology or devices industry.

  2. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.

  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  4. Operating autonomously across multiple teams, demonstrated critical thinking, and thought leadership.

  5. Proven influencing and negotiation skills to navigate complex deals, that lead to forming & nurturing meaningful strategic partnerships.

  6. Experience establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams and multiple partners in different time zones.

  7. BA/BS in Business or management related field (In lieu of degree, relevant work experience).
