Summary:

Cross-Meta Integrity teams work to keep users of our products safe from harm, whether by safeguarding elections or stopping hate and misinformation. Doing this well requires Meta to be efficient and agile, quickly understanding and responding to a broad range of risks as they emerge and evolve. As a result, we have created and continue to build a suite of internal products that allow us to move quickly and efficiently. The Cross Meta Integrity team is responsible for building these products and amplifying Meta’s integrity impact through efficient central technologies and supportive experiences that scale across the Family of Apps.We are looking for an experienced Data Engineering Manager to join the Actor Integrity data engineering team. The Actor Integrity team is solving a very challenging problem of protecting users and advertisers safety in Meta platform. This can be related to accounts that were compromised or users who try to abuse the platform by creating fake accounts or misrepresent themselves. This is a problem that unfortunately many users have encountered.In this role, you will work closely with leads across Data Science, Product Management, Software Engineering, and Research to identify and build data products using cutting-edge technology that impacts the everyday experience of billions of people and millions of businesses. Required Skills:

Data Engineering Manager, Analytics (Cross Meta Integrity) Responsibilities:

1. Proactively drive the vision for BI and Data Warehousing across a product vertical, and define and execute on a plan to achieve that vision.

2. Define the processes needed to achieve operational excellence in all areas, including project management and system reliability.

3. Build a high-quality BI and Data Warehousing team and design the team to scale.

4. Build cross-functional relationships with Data Scientists, Product Managers and Software Engineers to understand data needs and deliver on those needs.

5. Manage data warehouse plans across a product vertical.

6. Drive the design, building, and launching of new data models and data pipelines in production.

7. Drive data quality across the product vertical and related business areas.

8. Manage the delivery of high impact dashboards and data visualizations.

9. Define and manage SLA’s for all data sets and processes running in production.

Minimum Qualifications:

10. 8+ years of experience in BI and Data Warehousing.

11. Experience scaling and managing 5+ person teams.

12. Communication and leadership experience, with experience initiating and driving projects.

13. Project management experience.

14. Data architecture experience.

15. Experience in SQL.

16. Development experience in at least one object-oriented language (Python, Java, etc.).

17. BA/BS in Computer Science, Math, Physics, or other technical fields.
