Group Details

As the Customer Data Lead within the Data Management and Governance team at Tradeweb, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the creation, maintenance, and integrity of our Customer Master database. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve leading offshore operations, developing operation playbooks, and managing exception workflows to ensure the accuracy and completeness of customer data.

Additionally, you will engage with third-party data vendors, collaborate with technology teams on system enhancements, and establish Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track throughput and adherence to timelines.

Reporting directly to the Global Head of Data Management & Governance, you will contribute to the strategic direction of customer data management initiatives, driving efficiency, and alignment with organizational objectives. Through your leadership and expertise, you will support the organization in maintaining high standards of data quality and governance, ultimately enabling informed decision-making and driving business success.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation and maintenance of our Customer Master database, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency of customer data across all systems and platforms.

  • Oversee offshore operations related to customer data management, providing guidance and support to ensure adherence to established processes and standards.

  • Develop and maintain operations playbooks, including guidelines and procedures for producing and updating the customer master, ensuring consistency and efficiency in data management processes.

  • Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and implement tracking mechanisms to monitor throughput and completion based on timelines, enabling proactive management of resources and priorities.

  • Handle day-to-day exception management workflow, identifying and resolving data discrepancies and anomalies in a timely manner to maintain data integrity.

  • Engage with third-party data vendors for data ingestion, field analysis, data corrections, and other data-related activities, ensuring alignment with business requirements and quality standards.

  • Assist in providing enhancement requests to technology teams for updates to our centralized customer data system, based on operations needs and evolving requirements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business operations, and compliance, to ensure alignment of customer data management activities with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.

  • Create Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for releases, turnaround times, coverage, and other relevant metrics, ensuring clear expectations and accountability for customer data management processes.

  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in customer data management, continuously seeking opportunities for process improvement and optimization.

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the customer data management team, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous learning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field

  • Proven experience in data management, preferably in roles involving customer data management, data operations, or data governance.

  • Demonstrated experience in leading offshore operations and managing teams in a global environment.

  • Experience in developing and implementing operations playbooks or standard operating procedures for data management processes.

  • Strong understanding of data quality principles, data governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

  • Familiarity with technology systems used for customer data management (e.g., CRM systems, data warehouses, MDM solutions).

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and meet deadlines.

  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and mentor team members, foster collaboration, and drive results.

  • Attention to detail and a focus on data accuracy and integrity.

  • Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a focus on driving continuous improvement and delivering value to the organization.
