Position Overview :

We are seeking a Credit Analyst to join Global Investment Grade Credit Research team. Our goal is to further deepen our research resources and position our team to build upon our long-term track record of performance. As the successful candidate, you will join a team of 15 Investment Grade Research Analysts based across the US and EMEA. You will be working closely with our Traders and Portfolio Managers, who are responsible for the broader Global Investment Grade platform, which manages over $70 billion. The team is sustaining a track record of AUM growth which has created the opportunity for an experienced, proactive and ambitious analyst to bring a voice to the investment decision making process.

This role will report to the Co-Directors of Research for the Global Investment Grade Credit team and will support the global Investment Grade Portfolio Managers based in Chicago, London, Paris and Milan.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ability to independently research credit fundamentals and evaluate investment opportunities across various sectors.

  • Analysing financial statements, business risk, market technicals, and relative value to generate actionable corporate bond investment recommendations for various investment vehicles.

  • Working with senior analysts and Portfolio Managers to make buy, sell and hold recommendations.

  • Performing investment strategy analysis for multiple industrial / financial sectors.

  • Developing comprehensive industry frameworks and credit reviews for presentations to Portfolio Management.

  • Collaborating with Research and Portfolio Management to analyze macro factors and broad market dynamics that have implications for investment strategy.

Key Requirements:

  • Five to seven years corporate credit research experience with exposure to multiple non-financial industries preferred

  • Formal credit training and/or exposure to the fixed income markets preferred.

  • Completion or progress toward CFA preferred.

  • Strong working knowledge of spreadsheet applications required.

  • Proficiency in the use of computer tools such as Bloomberg, Excel, PowerPoint and aptitude for quickly learning new skills and technologies

  • Self-starter with proven initiative and ability to work independently and as part of a global team, performing multiple job functions without compromising quality of output
