Amazon Creative Operations Manager (15 months maternity cover), EU Stores Creative in London, United Kingdom

Description

Please note: This role is a 15-month fixed term contract. We cannot sponsor visas or support with relocation so please do not apply if you require these.

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented leader who will drive the seamless execution of creative projects, optimize workflows, and ensure efficient collaboration across various teams. This role will play a pivotal part in overseeing the creative production pipeline, from concept development to final delivery. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with exceptional organizational skills, a strong eye for detail, and a passion for driving creativity to its full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end project management for creative initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are executed on time and within budget.

  • Develop and implement streamlined processes and workflows to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the creative production pipeline. Identify bottlenecks and establish best practices.

  • Manage day-to-day creative capacity and workflows, via intake and resource management tools. Allocate creative resources appropriately to meet project demands and deadlines.

  • Oversee intake of all creative requests across EU Stores, assessing each request, gathering inputs and assigning to appropriate creative owners

  • Ensure deadlines are met and lead-times (SLAs) adhered to across all creative projects

  • Work closely with finance and stakeholders to create, monitor, and manage budgets for creative projects. Provide regular updates and propose cost-effective solutions.

  • Evaluate, implement, and manage creative tools and technologies that enhance project management, asset organisation, and overall productivity.

  • Develop reporting mechanisms to track project progress, resource utilisation, and operational metrics. Provide insights to drive informed decision-making.

  • Recruit and hire freelance resources, and onboard new agencies and suppliers when needed.

Basic Qualifications

    • 5+ years of project management, resource management, and/or digital/eCommerce management experience
    • Thorough understanding of creative and design workflows, with familiarity in digital or eCommerce site merchandising
    • Experience managing multiple projects and resources with competing priorities
    • Exceptional time management and anticipatory skills
    • Self-motivated and proactive in communication and problem-solving
    • Experience with project management tools including Asana, Workfront and Airtable

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in multi-territory campaign management

  • Experience in digital marketing and content production timelines and process
