Your New Role…

Involvement in strategic development and projects with a focus on commercial strategy, project management and business insights. The goal of this role is to support the delivery of the strategy team’s goals and the optimization of business outcomes in the key areas of distribution, ad sales and other non-theatrical segments. There will be a strong focus on the development of partnership models to drive the company’s priorities in key market development, the rollout of streaming, the optimization of networks, the sourcing of content, and opportunities to build value in all non-theatrical business segments.

Your Role Accountabilities…

  • Partnership analytics: design of holistic models to maximise value creation in our key partnerships in the region, across all areas of the business.

  • Work closely with the local teams to reset and re-define the relationships with our traditional partners to achieve mid-long term strategic goals while maintaining the revenue growth.

  • Active participation in planning, negotiating, and implementing the deal strategies in relation to key projects.

  • Contributing creative and strategic thinking on projects and to challenge status-quo.

  • Develop & cultivate excellent business relationships with the local teams in all markets.

  • Project management for key BD projects and monitor progress and outcomes.

  • Comprehend internal and external data to provide relevant analysis to support strategic decision making.

Qualifications & Experience…

  • Previous experience working in commercial strategy, corporate or business development within the media, broadcast, or entertainment industry.

  • Team player with strong inter-personal skills.

  • Strong academic background and analytical skills to drive strategic insight.

  • Must be able to multi-task and proactively manage a variety of projects and timelines.

  • Ability to work in a diverse global matrix organisation.

  • Proven capability in sourcing data and conducting research.

  • Passionate about working in digital and the media industry.

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
