Seeking applicants with experience in Outpatient Cardiology.

Position description

This position is located in London. Qualified candidates must be eligible to work in the U.K. and have a current registered general nurse license with an active NMC pin, minimum 2 years post registration experience.

The Cardiovascular Nurse (CV) supports professional nursing practice in this multidisciplinary outpatient setting and partners with our CV physicians to meet the needs of our patients. Mayo Clinic nurses function within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model which includes accountability for planning, implementing, evaluating and communicating all phases of care for our patients. The CV nurse provides informal leadership through activities such as working in the preceptor role and participating in quality improvement efforts.

Qualifications

The CV Nurse will meet the following requirements:

• Registered General Nurse with valid NMC pin, minimum of 2 years post-registration experience or working at a Band 6 NHS level.

• Cardiology experience / Cardiology Course and ALS provider.

• Prefer candidate with outpatient CV experience.

Additional qualifications

The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prioritise and co-ordinate own workload. They will be friendly, excellent problem solver and adaptable to the changing work environment—able to work as part of a team and have strong IT skills and competence.
