EMEALA & AU Digital Experience Lead

The EMEALA & AU Digital Experience Lead is responsible for defining and delivering the strategic vision and roadmap for the region, as well as overseeing development and ongoing support of all client-facing digital platforms and capabilities.

Responsibilities are wide ranging, aimed at maximizing brand visibility, by delivering a best in class client engagement model, finding superior ways to add value, drive engagement and differentiate the NB brand, driving the right action across every touchpoint throughout the client lifecycle to ensure positive sales outcomes.

Collaborating with central digital and technology functions and regional channel marketing and sales teams, the role is critical in identifying opportunities and leveraging digital capabilities to deliver experiences that drive client engagement and support regional sales priorities.

DIGITAL STRATEGY

  • Working collaboratively across Global Marketing, Client Coverage and Technology teams to define and deliver the strategic vision and roadmap for EMEALA & AU Digital/Marketing

  • Responsible for commercialising marketing activity by developing the lead management operating model that supports the acquisition of new clients, retention of existing clients and helps improve breadth and depth of relationships

  • Focused on building strong partnerships with Client Coverage and Channel Marketing Leads in the region. Understanding regional/local sales priorities and business requirements and identify opportunities to add value, drive engagement and differentiate our brand

DIGITAL PROJECT AND CAMPAIGN OVERSIGHT & ACTIVATION

Global collaboration

  • Act as the Digital SME for EMEALA & AU and provide a regional perspective in global forums, including strategic projects and campaign meetings.

  • Responsible for aligning strategies, sharing insights, and coordinating efforts to ensure cohesive, integrated marketing campaigns/initiatives that deliver consistent messaging and branding across EMEALA & AU channels with a focus on sales outcomes, whilst ensuring adherence to regulation

Regional/local oversight and ownership

  • Translate strategy and business needs into end to end experiences to optimise the distribution approach and performance of content and campaigns across all digital channels

  • Work with data teams to personalize content and experiences based on client behaviours and interest, as well as partnering with the Marketing Platforms team to leverage data insight and competitor analysis to continuously improve and automate the client journey

  • Monitor industry trends, client/prospect behavior, and competitor activities to identify emerging opportunities and insights. Gather actionable insights and adapt marketing strategies accordingly

  • Oversight and coordination of enablement/deployment/execution teams (web, email etc)

WEBSITE (NB.COM & SUITE OF NB ENTITY WEBSITES)

  • Campaign Strategy - Partner with channel, content, digital design, front- and back-end development teams to manage delivery of end-to-end integrated strategic global, regional and local campaigns and projects across external facing websites

  • Line Management - Line management of EMEALA website content editor and 1 x offshore resource

  • Digital Development - Participation in Digital Agile Ceremonies to ensure EMEALA website design and development requirements are represented and prioritized

  • Global collaboration - Attendance and participation in Digital Leadership forums and regional representative in global projects

  • Sales focused user journeys - Development of intuitive, personalized user journeys focused on generating leads and driving clients/prospects down to product aligned to sales priorities

  • Product Management - Ensure effective evolution of the product experience, whilst overseeing maintenance of product related content across the UCITs platform – facilitating collaboration across both EMEALA and APAC digital teams

  • Risk Mitigation - Collaborate with Legal & Compliance teams to mitigate risk by delivering solutions that support regulatory needs and ensure content on external facing platforms meets compliance standards

EMAIL MARKETING

  • Content Distribution strategy - Own regional content distribution strategy, collaborating with Channel Marketing, Client Coverage and Sales & Marketing Enablement teams to continue to find innovative ways to improve our content distribution approach

  • Campaign strategy - Partner with channel, content, digital design and email marketing teams to manage delivery of end-to-end integrated strategic global, regional and local nurture, drip and adhoc campaigns

  • Risk Mitigation - Work across teams, including Legal & Compliance, to ensure the business are leveraging all email mechanisms appropriately – outlining regulatory requirements and what this means for the business

  • User journeys - Identify opportunities to streamline and template user journeys, leveraging automation to drive efficiencies

  • Email Development - Work with Email Marketing team to leverage capabilities/functionality that allow us to deliver more personalized, targeted and automated email experiences

  • Email Design - Collaborate with central digital team on evolution of email template experience, ensuring regional requirements are considered

SOCIAL

  • Campaign Strategy - Define and deliver regional social campaign strategy, ensuring a more targeted approach whilst considering regulation and internal policy

  • Risk Mitigation - Collaborate with Compliance to evolve approach in how we leverage social media platforms as part of wider client engagement strategy

SALES ENABLEMENT

  • Onboarding and training - Increase collaboration across Marketing, Client Coverage and Sales & Marketing Enablement through knowledge share and tools, whilst investing in upskilling and education

MARKETING OPERATIONS

  • Efficiencies & Effectiveness - Identify opportunities and implement process that increases operational efficiencies and effectiveness, enabling EMEA Marketing to become a disciplined, transparent and accountable workforce, whilst being smart with deployment of our resources

  • Risk Mitigation - Mitigate reputational and legal risk, working with Group Legal and Compliance to ensure all digital marketing activity is considering our regulatory obligations. Identifying opportunities to incorporate governance and automation into our working practices

KEY SKILLS

  • 10+ years experience in digital marketing within asset management, with a good understanding of NB strategies and products (both public and private)

  • Firm understanding of EMEALA & AU regulatory landscape

  • Ability to think both strategically and analytically

  • Experience of creating and delivering on digital strategies, using data and insight to guide delivery of experiences, campaigns and content across multiple platforms

  • Project management experience

  • Strong communicator and ability to work and coordinate across teams

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing core channels

  • Good understanding of UX and UI and user behaviour, as well as knowledge of best practice in web journeys and email communications.

  • Understanding and experience of a wide range of MarTech platforms, with a good understanding of their technical implementation and functionality.

  • Experience managing a team, including setting, and following up on objectives and managing performance

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment, and adapt with changing business needs/priorities
