Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Santa Barbara, CA. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the financial health of our operations. You will be expected to perform a variety of tasks, including full cycle accounts payable, assisting with month-end journal entries, and account reconciliations. This role is key to the smooth operation of our accounting department.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full cycle of accounts payable operations

• Contribute to the month-end closing processes, including the preparation of journal entries

• Carry out account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records

• Support the CFO & Finance Manager in executing the responsibilities of the accounting department

• Participate in the development and implementation of new procedures to enhance the workflow of the department

• Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various tasks

• Maintain and manage general ledger entries

• Handle bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy

• Manage accounts receivable to ensure all finances are up to date

• Ensure a timely month-end close by coordinating and communicating with the team effectively.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations efficiently

• Understanding and usage of General Ledger

• Experience in handling Journal Entries

• Capability to manage Month End Close procedures

• Proficiency in using NetSuite software

• Experience with Oracle financial management system

• Familiarity with QuickBooks accounting software

• Knowledge and experience in using SAP
