Financial Analyst with effective communication skills will be interested in this position. This position is for someone who enjoys working as part of a team. This thriving company is seeking a skilled Financial Analyst through Robert Half. Performing budgeting , forecasting, variance analysis and financial modeling. You will measure, analyze, and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans. Responsibilities will also consist of advising operations management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and preparing reports for management. In this position, the candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with team members in areas such as forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management. What you get to do every day

• Work on monthly and quarterly financial close processes in collaboration with the Accounting team

• Ensure plans are properly executed by working with cross-functional partners in Accounting and Operations

• Assemble and review budgeting and create forecasting reports

• Understand and be able to explain internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending

• Survey performance to date and assess potential opportunities and risks

• Ensure business partners handle their resources by tracking monthly and quarterly performance through the comparison of actuals versus expectations

• Develop monthly reports to business partners on financial results and if any actions are required

• Provide valuable foresight and decision support through effective Business Intelligence (BI)

• Drive P& L forecasting and Area/Segment-level Bookings on a weekly, quarterly and annual basis

• The ideal candidate should be a highly flexible individual who is comfortable with large amounts of information and adept at managing expectations

• Work with senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in finance or a related field

• Strong Excel vlook ups and pivot tables and ERP system

  • 4- 7 plus years background in financial analysis and planning

• Able to build and deliver effective presentations

• 3 plus years of analytical skills

• Experience handling with large data sets
