Overview We are seeking an individual to establish and maintain nursery plots, collect and analyze data, and assist with related research activities
Responsibilities The technician will be responsible for constructing two nursery plots, each approximately 40 x 40 feet, with multiple irrigation zones. They will also design and install water recycling systems within the plots. In addition, the technician will maintain the plots and troubleshoot any issues that arise within the irrigation and recycling systems.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in building overhead and drip irrigation system.
- Knowledge and experience in nursery production systems.
- Nursery plots construction tools and equipment.
- Ability to work outdoors.
Has some horticulture background and experience. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Good communication skills

Bending, crawling, and crouching may be required. Incumbents may be required to lift, push, and/or pull objects up to 50 pounds and be required to walk and/or stand for long periods of time.
