Philips Project Manager Cost Category Industry, Real-Estate & Logistics in Lodz, Poland


In this role, you have the opportunity to

to work and develop in a challenging, innovative Procurement organization. Drive the demand side of market and project procurement for the Industrial, Real Estate and Logistics cost category, geared to optimize total costs by ensuring the best possible solution in the applicable region/area.

You are responsible for

  • End2End managing of a project to develop a product, technology, system, solutions, services or IT solutions: from the initial start until the introduction in the Market or until internal company delivery;

  • Managing the project by keeping the schedule, cost, quality and scope on track by proper risk and escalation; management;

  • Communicating accurately and timely project metrics to all key stakeholders;

  • Driving innovation from suppliers and to achieve cost efficiencies;

  • Developing the project management plan and all related component plans;

  • Building and maintain the project organization and leading the project team members and represents the project in the project team;

  • Performance management and resource management, communicating with all (key) stakeholders (e.g. sponsor);

  • Ensuring effective transfer and archiving of project results and associated knowledge to standing organization;

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Graduate with Master’s Degree;

  • Min. 5 years of relevant experience in project management environment with good knowledge of the Logistics, Real Estate and Industry category;

  • Fluent English (written and spoken);

  • Advanced project management skills with experience in working with a content;

  • Advanced performance management, including planning and dashboard building skills;

  • Basic Understanding of :

  • DFX methodology & Cost modelling

  • Nego (Coached & Game Theory)

  • Supplier Development

  • Technical Risk Analysis

  • Change management skills, ability to persuade, influence and motivate others;

  • Quality Management & APQP;

  • Negotiation and high analytical and interpretation skills;

  • Advanced communication skills, conflict resolution, stakeholder management in a matrix environment;

  • Customer attitude, proactivity;
